Ross Frankfurt, CEO
With over a decade of experience in the multifamily development industry, Ross is the CEO and a co-founder of Anthem Development. A native to Dallas, Ross graduated from Southern Methodist University with dual degrees in both Real Estate Finance and Economics. Ross immediately went to go to work at his family's nearly 100 year old multifamily development firm, Frankfurt Properties. The fourth generation to work at Frankfurt Properties, Ross grew the company from 4 full time employees to approximately 20 and over $100 million in AUM. Ross has directed the financing, development, construction, and management of nearly 2,000 apartment units. Additionally, he has led in the procurement of over $220 million of equity and debt financing and helped manage nearly $125 million of construction. At Anthem, Ross leads the company's development, construction and management.
Will McNutt, President
Will McNutt IV, J.D., serves as Anthem Development’s President and manages operations for the firm. Will served as the in-house counsel for several multifamily groups, including Avesta Communities, InvestRes, and remains of-counsel for Rex Teams. Will’s responsibilities include contract negotiations, complex real estate transactions and deal structuring, property and asset management oversight, as well as corporate management. Will previously worked as Associate Counsel for the Presidential Inaugural Committee under Tom Barrack and has served as a reserve officer in the Texas State Guard since 2012. He is an honors graduate of the Texas A&M School of Law.
Scott Beck, Managing Partner
As Managing Partner of Anthem Development, Scott brings decades worth of knowledge and experience to the firm. In addition to his role at Anthem, Scott also serves as CEO/President of his family's firm, Beck Ventures. With Beck, Scott directed the development and design of The Town of Trophy Club, a 3,500 acre mixed-use master planned City in the DFW metroplex. Additionally, Scott led the acquisition of Valley View Center to pave the way for Dallas Midtown, a planned $4 billion mixed-use development. Throughout the re-zoning and entitlement process of Dallas Midtown, Scott established a $432.5 million TIF, the largest TIF ever implemented in Dallas' history. Prior to joining Beck Ventures, Scott worked on Wall Street and with numerous financial firms including JP Morgan Chase, SG Cowen and Ernst and Young. Scott also has a Masters of Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and also serves on the board of United Texas Bank.
Jarrod Beck, Partner
Jarrod brings a robust history of real estate finance and transactional experience to Anthem, where he is a Partner and a member of the Investment Committee. In addition to his role at Anthem, Jarrod serves as the CEO and is a member of the Board of Directors of United Texas Bank, an over $1 billion commercial bank. Under Jarrod's stewardship, UTB has financed billions of dollars of transactions, specifically hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial real estate lending to numerous multifamily apartment communities across the country. Jarrod holds a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a B.A. in Finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Additionally, Jarrod is very active in the community, serving on the boards of various local civic and religious organizations in Dallas.
Jeffrey Beck, Investment Chairman
Mr. Beck started Beck Ventures after a successful career at Trammell Crow Company. After leaving TCC to form Beck Properties in the 1970's, Mr. Beck's first property acquisition was from Anthem Co-Founder, Ross Frankfurt's, Grandfather, David Frankfurt. From there, Mr. Beck went on to acquire and develop over 35,000 apartment apartment units throughout the United States. He then started Capital Senior Living (NYSE: CSU), a national developer, owner and operator of senior living facilities that he took public on the New York Stock Exchange. In 1985 he founded United Texas Bank where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Beck also serves as the CEO of Quantum Holdings, LP, an investment firm that invests in various businesses throughout the United States.
